Therapy Approach
Collaborative. Supportive. Trusting.
These are a few of the terms that come to mind when I think of the approach I take with my clients. Therapy is not something that is done to you, it is something you participate in fully. You will set the tone and pace for your therapy and you are always in control. An ideal therapist client relationship is one where you feel that you can be open and honest, and trust that your therapist will be supportive and nonjudgemental. Therapy is an investment in your mental health and your quality of life.
A few of the treatment modalities that I have experience with are:
-Motivational Interviewing
-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
-Dialectical Behavior Therapy
-Solution Focused Therapy
-Mindfulness and Meditation
